Request a Transfer
We want to make it easy to transfer trauma patients to Grady. If you are a physician or hospital and need to transfer your patient to Grady’s Marcus Trauma Center, call 855-55-trauma1 day or night. Your call will be answered by our Clinical Care Coordinators who will ask for the following information prior to connecting you with one of our Trauma Attendings to facilitate the transfer:
- Patient name, age, gender
- Mechanism of injury, identified injuries, and the injury necessitating transfer
- Current status/stability
- Name of transferring provider

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 and ask to be taken to Grady.
