Research

Always Innovating

As one of the nation’s elite teaching hospitals, our trauma clinicians lead countless studies aimed at finding better, more effective treatments for patients with traumatic injuries. Research done at Grady has helped redefine the way doctors around the world treat trauma patients.

In the last three years, Grady research appeared in nearly 100 medical journal articles. Our current studies are being underwritten by 32 different grants valued at more than $32 million.

This commitment to research means that Grady offers the best standard trauma care – and the best emerging care available.
