  • Annual wellness exams and Pap tests
  • STI testing and treatment
  • Menopause support
  • Pelvic pain
  • Endometriosis

Our mission is to provide the care you need to prevent health problems from occurring.

We support reproductive health at every age, including

  • Access to subspecialists (urologists, oncologists, and others who specialize in female reproductive health)
  • Birth control counseling and prescriptions
  • Family planning and pre-pregnancy care
  • STI testing, treatment, and education
  • Referrals for fertility and genetic evaluations.

Our goal is to help you make informed, confident choices about your reproductive health, have a safe and satisfying sex life, can reproduce, and have the freedom to choose if, when, and how to have children.

Personalized Prenatal Care

Any hospital can deliver a baby. We provide care that ensures the best outcomes for mothers and their children. Our OB/GYNs, nurse-midwives, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists work together to support safe, healthy pregnancies. We provide:

  • Regular checkups, screenings, and tests to monitor the health of the mother and fetal development
  • Ongoing care for high blood pressure, diabetes, and HIV during pregnancy
  • Infertility evaluations and coordinated referrals
  • Onsite WIC services
  • Nutrition, wellness, and emotional support

We also offer services that are unique to Grady in Atlanta

  • CenteringPregnancy® – group prenatal care that supports healthier outcomes
Grady is the only hospital in Atlanta accredited to offer CenteringPregnancy®. This program brings together women with similar due dates for shared prenatal visits, hands-on learning, and peer support. You still receive your private exams and take part in group sessions that are shown to improve maternal health, build confidence, and support better birth outcomes.
  • Baby-Friendly® Hospital – promoting breastfeeding and healthy beginnings
Grady is one of only two hospitals in Atlanta with the Baby-Friendly® designation, a top standard in maternity care. The program supports breastfeeding and skin-to-skin bonding. Two simple practices that boost a baby’s immune system and help parents and newborns connect from the start.
  • Talk With Me Baby – helping families build early language skills
Grady takes part in Talk With Me Baby, a pioneering program that teaches families how everyday talking helps a baby’s brain grow. Caregivers learn simple ways to talk, read, and engage with their newborn. These habits speed early brain development, support language skills, and help children learn.

Safe, Supportive Birth Experiences

When it’s time to welcome your baby, you deserve care that makes you feel seen and supported. Families across Atlanta choose Grady for our expert team and family-centered approach.

You can expect:

  • 24/7 OB/GYN and nursing care
  • Personalized pain management options
  • Immediate newborn care from our Neonatal Team

  • Postpartum nutrition guidance through Food as Medicine
  • Home follow-up visits through our Mobile Integrated Health team

You’re not just having a baby. You’re becoming a family. Grady is honored to be part of that moment.

Advanced Newborn Care in Atlanta

Grady’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides round-the-clock care for premature and medically fragile babies as young as 22 weeks’ gestation. Our team includes neonatologists, nurses, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and developmental specialists.

We support both baby and family with:

  • 24/7 breastfeeding help and donor breast milk
  • Whole-body cooling therapy for advanced healing after a difficult birth
  • Soothing developmental care (cuddles, story time, gentle voices, and music, even when you can’t be there)
  • Emotional support and thoughtful discharge planning

We believe family-centered care starts with connection. That’s why families are welcome at any hour, provided with secure video access to see their baby from anywhere, and offered private, calming spaces for peaceful bonding.

Confidential Care for Teens Ages 12–19

Grady’s Teen Center offers safe, supportive, and confidential care for adolescents. Our team includes physicians, nurses, social workers, and health educators who help teens make informed decisions.

We offer:

  • Birth control, including IUDs, implants, injections, and more
  • Gynecologic care
  • Pregnancy testing
  • STI and HIV testing and treatment
  • HPV vaccines
  • Sports physicals

As adolescents begin to make important reproductive healthcare decisions on their own, it is important they receive the best education and preventive information available. Grady’s Teen Center empowers adolescents by providing information and lifestyle coaching. Our health educators provide counseling and work with parents and students in local schools, churches, and community health agencies.
