Keeping You Safe

Doctor, patient and nurse talking

We're Committed To Your Health and Safety

At Grady, nothing is more important than your health and safety. That’s why we are doing several things to ensure that you can come to our clinics and get the care you need, safely. We thought it would be helpful if we shared with you the actions we are taking so that you feel comfortable when you come to visit us. Here are some things that we are doing to protect you, and some things you can expect if you have an upcoming visit.

What we are doing:

  • Temperature screenings conducted for all staff and patients upon entry.
  • All staff, patients, and visitors are required to wear a mask while in the clinic. Patients who do not have a mask may be provided one.
  • Using telemedicine (appointments over the phone and video conference) whenever possible so you do not have to come to the hospital/clinic.
  • Practicing good social distancing and limiting onsite appointments to reduce traffic in waiting rooms.
  • Practicing good hand hygiene and encouraging our patients to do the same.
  • Frequently and thoroughly cleaning all patient care areas.

Before your visit:

  • Sign up here for MyChart, a free, secure app that allows you to see your health information online. Using this app, you’ll be able to:
    • Reduce the amount of time spent in our waiting room by checking in to your appointment and filling out paperwork ahead of time.
    • Receive lab and test results.
    • Request medication refills
    • Manage your scheduled appointments
    • Attend video appointments where available
    • If you don’t have a MyChart account, call (404) 616-5551, and we’ll get you set up. It’s easy!

During your visit

  • Please be prepared to have your temperature taken and answer a few brief questions upon entry. This process takes seconds, and is in place to protect you and others.
  • Please remember there are no visitors or guests allowed at Grady. However if you require support to get to your appointment or if you are accompanying a minor, one companion will be allowed.
  • Please wear a mask. If you do not have one, that is ok, we will make sure you get one when you arrive.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we work through this together. We look forward to providing you with the amazing care that you have come to expect from Grady.

We’ll see you soon.
