Vote by Mail
Registered voters can request a mail-in ballot by visiting ballotrequest.sos.ga.gov. It can take several weeks to process your request and mail a ballot to you. If you want to vote by mail, please make your request early.

Vote Early In Person
Early in-person voting begins on Monday, October 14, 2024. Check with your county election office for hours and locations. Remember to bring a valid photo ID such as a driver’s license, passport, or voter identification card with you.
Early in-person voting ends on Friday, November 1, 2024.
Things to Know
The General Election is Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
To register to vote in Georgia, you must:
- Be a citizen of the United States
- Be a legal resident of the county
- Be at least 17 1/2 years of age to register and 18 years of age to vote
- Not be currently serving a sentence for conviction of a felony involving moral turpitude
- Have not been found mentally incompetent by a judge
