How to Register

Georgia has online voter registration, but you must register by October 5.

You can register to vote online if you have a Georgia driver’s license or state ID. If you don’t have a Georgia driver’s license or state ID, you can prepare a paper form.

Visit www.mvp.sos.ga.gov to register or call (470) 242-4952 for assistance.

Has Your Address Changed?

It’s a good idea to check your registration before October 5. You want to make sure your address is correct because where you live determines where you vote. If you request a mail-in ballot, election officials will mail your ballot there.

If you have moved since the last time you voted or don’t vote often, please check your registration before the October 5 deadline.

Visit www.mvp.sos.ga.gov to check your registration.

Deadline to register is October 5.
