Whether you’re a nurse, physician, first responder, or healthcare provider, our expert-led courses offer the knowledge and skills needed to save lives and improve patient outcomes.

ELEVATING TRAUMA EDUCATION – ADVANCING PATIENT CARE


Grady’s Trauma Education Program equips healthcare professionals with essential skills to improve trauma care across Georgia and the Southeast. Through a wide range of specialized courses, we train nurses, physicians, EMS teams, and hospital staff in both routine and advanced trauma procedures. Many courses are offered year-round, with on-site training available upon request.

Programs

Trauma Education


An intensive 8-hour course for physicians, nurses, EMS providers, and other first responders. Learn emergency burn care for the first 24 hours post-injury through lectures, case discussions, and hands-on simulations.

An advanced course for registered nurses focused on managing complex trauma cases. Enhances assessment, triage, and critical care skills.

Taught under the American College of Surgeons’ standards, this course teaches a structured, efficient approach to trauma assessment and management for providers at all levels.

This course introduces endovascular techniques—like REBOA—for managing life-threatening bleeding. Ideal for physicians and advanced practice providers.

Offered by the Emergency Nurses Association, this two-day course prepares nurses to assess and treat acutely ill or injured children using evidence-based pediatric care strategies.

Designed for providers new to critical care. Covers mechanical ventilation, shock management, metabolic stabilization, neurologic emergencies, and critical cardiac care.

Provides focused training for nurses caring for pediatric trauma patients, addressing knowledge gaps in inpatient pediatric trauma care.

On-site, interdisciplinary training designed to improve trauma care in rural hospitals through a systematic, team-based response approach.

A 40-hour course preparing nurses to care for sexual assault survivors and conduct forensic exams as certified SANE providers.

This community-focused course teaches life-saving bleeding control techniques that can be used by anyone in an emergency.

An intensive trauma care training course for nurses covering rapid assessment, critical thinking, and evidence-based interventions.
Also includes:

  • TNCC Renewal Course for certified nurses needing recertification.
  • TNCC Instructor Course for those wanting to teach TNCC (must be certified).

A one-day prep course for nurses pursuing BCEN’s TCRN certification. Covers trauma care across the full continuum.

For trauma system professionals focused on quality improvement. Teaches how to assess, monitor, and enhance trauma care outcomes through structured review processes.
