Since 1974, Grady’s Rape Crisis Center has provided confidential, trauma-informed care to survivors of sexual violence. We are dedicated to breaking the cycle of violence through advocacy, support, and education; empowering survivors to heal on their terms.

A safe place to begin healing


Grady’s Rape Crisis Center offers compassionate, confidential care to anyone affected by sexual violence. Our expert team includes trained forensic nurses, advocates, and counselors who provide trauma-informed care to all survivors—regardless of race, gender identity, ability, or legal status. We offer:

  • 24/7 Crisis Support: Immediate assistance via our confidential crisis line.
  • Hospital Advocacy: Guidance and support through medical exams in our Emergency Department.
  • Counseling Services: Individual and group therapy for survivors and their loved ones.
  • Legal Advocacy: Help navigating legal options and connecting with local resources.
  • Community Education & Prevention: Raising awareness and promoting safety through outreach programs.
