Overview

Find Answers. Find Relief.

Asthma and allergies can affect everything from how well you sleep to what you eat, where you go, and how active you can be. At Grady’s Asthma & Allergy Center, our specialists help you understand what’s causing your symptoms and find the right treatment to help you feel better and get back to your life.

Our board-certified allergists and asthma specialists provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnostic testing, and advanced treatment for asthma and a wide range of allergies, including environmental, food, and medication allergies.

Whether you’ve been living with symptoms for years or need answers about a possible allergy, we’ll help you understand what’s happening and what you can do about it.

Why Choose Grady

Managing asthma and allergies starts with understanding your triggers. Our specialists work with you to identify what may be causing your symptoms and develop a treatment plan based on your condition, lifestyle, and needs.

For patients with certain types of severe asthma that aren’t well controlled with traditional inhaler therapy, Grady offers advanced treatments, including biologic therapies.

We also provide testing for environmental, food, and medication allergies. While Grady does not currently offer allergy injections, our allergists can identify your sensitivities and recommend ways to avoid triggers, manage symptoms, and determine whether medication may help.

And when asthma or allergies are connected to other health concerns, you have access to specialists across Grady for coordinated care.

What We Treat

You don’t have to simply live with asthma or allergy symptoms. Grady’s specialists can help identify your triggers, understand your condition, and find a treatment plan that helps you feel more like yourself.

Environmental Allergies

Pollen, dust mites, mold, and animal dander are common allergy triggers. Symptoms may include sneezing, a stuffy or runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, coughing, and other respiratory symptoms.

Our specialists can help identify your triggers and recommend ways to reduce your exposure and manage your symptoms.

Food Allergies

Food allergies can cause reactions ranging from mild itching or hives to a severe, potentially life-threatening reaction called anaphylaxis.

We can evaluate suspected food allergies, help identify foods that may be causing reactions, and provide guidance for safely avoiding your triggers.

Medication Allergies

Some prescription and over-the-counter medications can cause allergic reactions. Symptoms may include hives, rash, swelling, or, in severe cases, anaphylaxis.

Our specialists can evaluate suspected medication allergies and help determine which medications you may need to avoid and what alternatives may be appropriate.

Asthma

If coughing, wheezing, chest tightness, or shortness of breath is getting in the way of your daily life, we can help.

Our asthma specialists can diagnose your condition, determine its severity, identify possible triggers, and develop a treatment plan that works for you.

Treatment may include medications, inhalers, strategies for avoiding triggers, and advanced biologic therapies for certain types of severe asthma. Our goal is to help you control your symptoms, breathe easier, and stay active.
