Doctor's Bio
Dr. Yolanda H. Wimberly is a double board-certified physician, clinical pediatrics and adolescent medicine professor, and an innovative healthcare organizational and educational leader. Her expertise lies in developing and implementing cutting-edge medical curricula and educating physicians in medical decision-making, cost-effectiveness, and best clinical practices to build the next generation of top-quality medical professionals.
Dr. Wimberly has a Doctor of Medicine from Meharry Medical College and a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of Cincinnati. She completed her pediatric residency at Northwestern and an adolescent medicine fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She has a clinical practice in Grady’s Adult to Adolescent Clinic, where she provides excellent care to adolescents and young adults ages 12 to 26.
She also serves as Grady’s Chief Health Outcomes Officer.
