Doctor's Bio

Ursula Kelly, PhD, APRN, ANP-BC, PMHNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN, is a dual-certified adult and psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner who provides care at Grady. Her work focuses on helping patients recover from trauma and addressing both the physical and emotional effects that traumatic experiences can have on health and well-being.

Kelly brings extensive experience caring for patients in hospitals, neighborhood clinics, and community health settings. Her clinical and research interests include trauma recovery, mental health, violence and injury prevention, and improving access to care for people affected by trauma.

In addition to her work at Grady, Kelly is an Associate Professor at Emory University’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing and Associate Director of the Injury Prevention Research Center at Emory. She is committed to advancing trauma-informed care and improving recovery and long-term health for patients and communities.
