Doctor's Bio
Dr. Toby Terwilliger, MD, is an internal medicine and pediatrics physician who cares for hospitalized patients at Grady. As a hospitalist, he treats a wide range of medical conditions and helps coordinate each patient’s care throughout their hospital stay.
Dr. Terwilliger has a special interest in improving access to healthcare and helping patients overcome barriers that can affect their health. He also has expertise in bedside ultrasound, which allows physicians to quickly evaluate patients and help guide procedures and treatment decisions.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Terwilliger is dedicated to medical education and advocacy. He helps train future physicians to understand the challenges their patients face and provide thoughtful, patient-centered care.
