Doctor's Bio
Dr. Susan Palasis, MD, is a pediatric neuroradiologist who specializes in imaging of the brain, spine, head, and neck in infants, children, and adolescents. At Grady, she uses advanced imaging to help diagnose neurological conditions and provide care teams with the information they need to guide treatment.
Dr. Palasis is Medical Director of Pediatric Neuroradiology at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and a Professor of Radiology at Emory University School of Medicine. She is a nationally recognized leader in pediatric neuroradiology and has held numerous clinical and professional leadership roles throughout her career.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Palasis is dedicated to advancing pediatric brain and spine imaging through research and education. Her work focuses on improving the diagnosis and understanding of conditions affecting the developing brain and nervous system.
