Doctor's Bio
Dr. Scot Sherwood, MD, is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist who specializes in musculoskeletal imaging. At Grady, he uses advanced imaging to diagnose conditions and injuries affecting the bones, joints, muscles, and spine.
Dr. Sherwood has particular expertise in orthopedic and spine imaging, including sports injuries, rheumatologic conditions, and bone and soft tissue tumors. His experience includes working closely with orthopedic surgeons to evaluate complex injuries and help guide treatment decisions.
Dr. Sherwood earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed advanced fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology and diagnostic neuroradiology at the University of California San Diego.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Sherwood is an Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine and is dedicated to training future radiologists.
