Doctor's Bio
Dr. Sandra Gjorgova Gjeorgjievski, MD, is a board-certified pathologist who specializes in diagnosing bone and soft tissue tumors, including sarcomas, as well as breast disease. At Grady, she plays a vital role in helping patients receive accurate diagnoses that guide treatment decisions and support the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Gjorgova Gjeorgjievski earned her medical degree from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University Medical School in Skopje, Macedonia. She completed advanced fellowship training in surgical pathology at Mayo Clinic and in bone and soft tissue pathology at Cleveland Clinic, where she developed specialized expertise in the diagnosis of complex tumors.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Gjorgova Gjeorgjievski is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Her research focuses on improving the understanding and diagnosis of sarcomas, helping advance the care of patients with rare and complex cancers.
