Doctor's Bio


Dr. Rebecca Seidel, MD, is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist who specializes in breast imaging and breast cancer detection. At Grady, she uses mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI to identify and evaluate breast conditions and help patients get the answers they need.

Dr. Seidel also performs image-guided breast biopsies, which can help determine whether an abnormal area is cancerous and guide the next steps in a patient’s care. She is passionate about early breast cancer detection and works closely with patients and their care teams to provide accurate, timely, and compassionate breast care.

Dr. Seidel earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed her diagnostic radiology residency and advanced fellowship training in breast imaging at Emory University School of Medicine. She is also an Associate Professor of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory.

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Seidel is an advocate for breast cancer awareness, screening, and early detection.
