Doctor's Bio
Dr. Pretesh Patel, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist who specializes in using radiation therapy to treat a wide range of cancers. At Grady, he cares for patients with pancreatic, colorectal, liver, anal, bladder, kidney, prostate, and testicular cancers, working closely with each patient and their cancer care team to develop a personalized treatment plan.
Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from Duke University and completed his radiation oncology residency there, serving as Chief Resident during his final year.
In addition to caring for patients at Grady, Dr. Patel is an Associate Professor and Vice Chair for Clinical Operations in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. He is committed to providing advanced, evidence-based radiation therapy while helping patients understand their treatment and feel supported throughout their cancer care.
