Phoebe Lenhart, MD is currently an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Emory University School of Medicine. She joined the section of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus in August 2009. Her clinical interests include pediatric cornea and keratoplasty pediatric cataracts, pediatric and adult strabismus, and global pediatric eye care. She has published articles in peer-reviewed publications and presents regularly at national ophthalmology meetings. Dr. Lenhart currently serves as the Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Fellowship Director at Emory. Since 2012, Dr. Lenhart has participated in several teaching and surgical outreach efforts in Sub-Saharan Africa.
