Dr. Nirisha Commodore, MD, is a primary care physician at Grady and physician leader of the High-Risk Cancer Program at the Georgia Cancer Center for Excellence. She specializes in helping patients understand and manage their risk for breast cancer, with a focus on prevention and early detection.

Dr. Commodore works with patients who may have a higher risk of developing breast cancer because of their family history, personal health history, or other risk factors. She helps patients understand their individual risk and take steps to protect their health through appropriate screening and ongoing care.

Her clinical and research interests include breast cancer prevention, early detection and survivorship, as well as managing chronic health conditions and improving health outcomes in the communities Grady serves.

Dr. Commodore is committed to helping patients take an active role in their health and connecting them with the care they need at every stage.
