Nirali Desai, MPH, PA-C, received a BS in Psychology from the University of Georgia and her Master of Public Health and Master of Medical Science degrees from Emory University. Before attending PA school, Nirali worked at the CDC, managing and coordinating various capacity-building projects designed to enhance global foodborne disease detection and response. She also served as a project coordinator for several research studies at Grady Memorial Hospital. In 2017, Nirali joined IDP as a Physician Assistant in both the Main and Women’s clinics. She has a strong interest in PA student education and the application of public health principles in clinical medicine. In her free time, Nirali enjoys spending time with her husband and family, cooking, and exploring the Atlanta restaurant scene.
