Doctor's Bio
Dr. Michelle D. Lall, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician who cares for patients at Grady and is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality emergency care when it matters most. She is known for her dedication to supporting patients, mentoring future physicians, and creating an environment where every person feels respected, valued, and heard.
In addition to her clinical work at Grady, Dr. Lall is a Professor and the inaugural Vice Chair for Community and Belonging at Emory University School of Medicine. Throughout her career, she has held numerous leadership roles in emergency medicine education, physician well-being, and workforce development. Her professional interests include physician wellness, leadership, and fostering inclusive healthcare environments that improve care for both patients and healthcare teams.
A nationally recognized leader in emergency medicine, Dr. Lall has received numerous awards for her teaching, mentorship, and advocacy. She is committed to advancing emergency care through education, research, and leadership while helping build the next generation of emergency physicians.
