Dr. McKenzie M. Hollon, MD, FASE

Director of Perioperative Echocardiography

Dr Hollon completed her anesthesiology residency training and fellowship in adult cardiothoracic anesthesiology at Emory. Her clinical practice at Grady includes anesthesia for cardiac, thoracic, trauma, orthopedic, burn, plastic, ENT, urology, breast, gynecologic, ophthalmology, neurosurgery, GI endoscopy, and general surgery, as well as obstetric anesthesia, GI endoscopy suite, and regional anesthesia. She performs and interprets transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography for preoperative patients. Her educational and research focus is the role of echocardiography and focused cardiac ultrasound in the peri-operative arena.
