Doctor's Bio
Dr. Maurice D. Selby, MD, is an emergency medicine physician at Grady who cares for patients with a wide range of urgent and life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
Dr. Selby completed his emergency medicine residency at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine/Kings County Hospital in New York City, where he served as Chief Resident for Resident Education.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Selby has a strong interest in public health education and helping people better understand medical and health information. He is also dedicated to training medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers, helping prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality emergency care.
