Dr. Martin G. Sanda, MD, is a urologic cancer surgeon who specializes in prostate and bladder cancer. At Grady, he helps patients understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and what to expect before and after treatment.

Dr. Sanda has extensive experience with advanced cancer surgery, including robotic surgery for prostate and bladder cancer. He works with each patient to choose a treatment plan based on their cancer, health, and personal needs.

As an internationally recognized prostate cancer expert, Dr. Sanda also leads research to improve how doctors find and treat prostate cancer. His work focuses on better cancer screening, more effective treatments, and helping patients maintain their quality of life after treatment.

Dr. Sanda earned his medical degree from Columbia University and completed advanced training at the National Cancer Institute and Johns Hopkins Hospital.
