Doctor's Bio
Dr. Marshall Fleurant, MD, is Clinical Director of the Primary Care Clinic at Grady, where he is dedicated to helping patients build lasting relationships with their healthcare team and receive comprehensive, compassionate care. He believes that high-quality primary care starts with listening to patients, understanding their life experiences, and addressing both their medical and social needs.
Dr. Fleurant earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed his internal medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and went on to complete a General Medicine Fellowship and Master of Public Health at Harvard University. He brings extensive experience in primary care, medical education, and population health to his work at Grady.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Fleurant mentors medical students and residents, helping train the next generation of primary care physicians. His professional interests include trauma-informed care, improving access to healthcare, reducing health disparities, and strengthening primary care to better serve the communities that rely on Grady.
