Doctor's Bio
Dr. Kisha Young is a board-certified neurologist specializing in Movement Disorders in metro Atlanta. She attended Spelman College and went on to obtain her PhD in Neuroscience and her MD from the University of Virginia. She completed Neurology residency and a movement disorders fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a movement disorders neurologist, she specializes in the care of patients with Parkinson’s disease, Essential Tremor, Dystonia, Huntington’s disease, Restless Legs Syndrome, Tardive Dyskinesia, and Tourette Syndrome. She administers botulinum toxin injections for neck and extremity dystonia, post-stroke spasticity, and hemifacial spasm. She is a member of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society and the American Academy of Neurology.
