Dr. Julia J. Liu, MD, MSc, FACG, FACP

Chief of Gastroenterology

Dr. Julia J. Liu’s clinical work and research focus on the use of imaging modalities to quantify leaky gut in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and irritable bowel syndrome. She leads the clinical initiatives aimed at addressing disparities in the gastroenterological care of underserved minority populations through research and education.
