Doctor's Bio
Dr. Jennifer L. Swails, MD, is an internal medicine physician and Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. She specializes in adult medicine and is committed to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care.
Dr. Swails earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and completed her internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She joined Emory in 2024 after more than a decade of leadership in internal medicine education.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Swails serves as Vice Chair for Education for Emory’s Department of Medicine. She is a nationally recognized medical educator who has received several awards for teaching and compassionate care.
Dr. Swails is dedicated to training future physicians to listen to their patients, work as a team, and provide high-quality care to every person they serve.
