Dr. Howa Yeung, MD

Howa Yeung, MD is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Emory University School of Medicine. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, from the City College of New York with a biomedical science major and mathematics minor. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from New York University School of Medicine with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He also completed a NIAMS T32-funded dermatoepidemiology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine during medical school. He trained at Yale-New Haven Hospital for his internal medicine internship and at Emory University School of Medicine for his dermatology residency and chief residency. He is completing a Master of Science in Clinical Research from the Emory University Laney Graduate School. Dr. Yeung‰Ûªs research focuses on addressing clinical and research gaps on skin diseases disproportionately affecting sexual and gender minority patients and patients living with HIV. Currently, he is supported by the Georgia CTSA KL2 Scholars Program and examines keratinocyte carcinoma incidence in veterans living with HIV.
