Doctor's Bio
Dr. Howa Yeung is a dermatologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the skin, hair, and nails. He has particular expertise in skin cancer and skin conditions that may affect people living with HIV or receiving hormone therapy.
Dr. Yeung earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital and his dermatology residency and chief residency at Emory University School of Medicine. He is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at Emory.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Yeung conducts research aimed at improving the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of skin disease. His work includes studying skin cancer among people living with HIV and understanding how hormone therapy can affect the skin.
Dr. Yeung has published extensively in leading medical journals and is committed to using research to improve dermatologic care for patients with a wide range of healthcare needs.
