Doctor's Bio
Dr. Emma K. Sizemore, MD, MPH, is an emergency medicine physician at Grady who cares for patients with a wide range of urgent and life-threatening illnesses and injuries. She has a special interest in improving access to HIV and hepatitis C testing and treatment.
At Grady, Dr. Sizemore leads routine HIV and hepatitis C screening in the Emergency Department. She works closely with nurses, social workers, community clinics, and other partners to connect patients who test positive with the care and treatment they need.
Dr. Sizemore earned her medical degree and Master of Public Health from Emory University and is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine.
Through her clinical and public health work, Dr. Sizemore is helping make the Emergency Department an important entry point to HIV and hepatitis C care for patients who might otherwise go undiagnosed or face barriers to treatment.
