Doctor's Bio
Dr. Geetha Jagannathan is an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology at Emory University School of Medicine, specializing in surgical, oncologic, and transplantation pathology. At Grady, she practices general surgical pathology with an emphasis in breast pathology, while also serving as a member of the renal pathology team at Emory where she specializes in diagnosing non-neoplastic and transplantation-related diseases of the kidney. Dr. Jagannathan received her medical degree at VMKV Medical College in Tamil Nadu, India, followed by an Anatomic and Clinical pathology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and fellowships in Surgical pathology and Kidney pathology at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Columbia University Medical Center, respectively. She is passionate about providing the best care to patients and takes pride in her role as an educator, teaching the next generation of pathologists.
