Dr. Andres A. Rodriguez Ruiz is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Emory University School of Medicine. He graduated from the Medical School of University of Puerto Rico Medical School. Subsequently he completed Neurology Residency at State of New York University (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn New York, serving as the Chief Resident in the last year of his training. He then specialized in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy by completing a two-year fellowship with focus on EEG, Epilepsy, Intraoperative Monitoring and ICU EEG at New York Presbyterian, Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He is board-certified in Neurology and Epilepsy by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Andres A. Rodriguez Ruiz serves on several Committees over the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society. His research interests span the whole spectrum of Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy. Dr. Rodriguez has an interest in medications and devices for research on Epilepsy patients. Dr. Rodriguez also has interest in Healthcare Informatics with focus on EEG of critical ill patients.
