Andre L. Holder, MD
Dr. Andre L. Holder, MD, is a critical care physician with specialized training in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and critical care medicine. He cares for patients with life-threatening illnesses in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Grady, where he is dedicated to delivering timely, evidence-based care for some of the hospital’s most critically ill patients.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Holder is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. His research focuses on using advanced data science and artificial intelligence to identify patients who are at risk of becoming critically ill, with the goal of recognizing conditions such as sepsis earlier and improving patient outcomes. His interests also include critical care resuscitation, hemodynamic monitoring, and advancing new approaches to caring for patients in the ICU.
