Doctor's Bio
I am a rheumatologist based at Grady Hospital. I supervise the Grady Rheumatology Fellow’s Clinic and inpatient rheumatology consultations. I have experience in basic science, translational research, clinical trials and a master’s degree in clinical science. I have extensively educated undergraduates, medical students, residents and fellows at the University of Colorado, University of Michigan and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). I served as the rheumatology fellowship program director for three years at UAMS. I have a great passion for educating patients and their families about their conditions and for educating physicians in the care of patients with rheumatic disease. My clinical interests include rheumatoid arthritis, connective tissue disease associated lung and eye disease.
