Dr. Abiodun T. Kukoyi, MD, is a pulmonary and critical care physician who cares for patients with lung disease and serious breathing problems at Grady. She is committed to helping patients manage chronic lung conditions while improving access to high-quality pulmonary and preventive care.

Dr. Kukoyi earned her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completed her internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She then completed fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Emory University.

At Grady, Dr. Kukoyi’s work focuses on improving the diagnosis and treatment of lung disease and reducing barriers to care. Her research includes improving how pulmonary function tests are used to diagnose breathing problems and increasing vaccination among people with chronic lung disease. She is also dedicated to educating future physicians and finding practical ways to improve lung health for the communities Grady serves.
