Doctor's Bio
Originally from Odessa, Texas, Dr. Deepika Koganti, MD, grew up in Jonesboro, Georgia, and is excited to be back home in the Atlanta area. She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Miami before completing her general surgery residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. During her training, she also completed a year of basic science research focused on burn injuries and bowel obstructions. Dr. Koganti returned to Atlanta to complete her trauma and critical care fellowship and is passionate about caring for patients with complex surgical and traumatic injuries.
