Doctor's Bio
Dr. Adam Lorentz, MD, is a urologist who specializes in treating prostate and kidney conditions, including urologic cancers, enlarged prostate (BPH), and kidney stones. At Grady, he is committed to helping patients understand their options and providing personalized treatment focused on improving their health and quality of life.
Dr. Lorentz has advanced expertise in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, including procedures for prostate and kidney disease. His clinical interests also include newer treatments for prostate cancer and enlarged prostate that can offer patients less invasive alternatives and faster recovery when appropriate.
Dr. Lorentz earned his medical degree and completed his urology residency at Emory University School of Medicine. In addition to caring for patients, he is an Associate Professor of Urology and is actively involved in research and training future physicians. His work focuses on bringing advanced urologic treatments to patients and expanding access to high-quality urology care throughout Atlanta.
