Dr. Chad W. M. Ritenour is currently Vice Chair of Education and Faculty Affairs and Professor in the Department of Urology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. He is also the Chief Medical Officer for Emory University Hospital. He teaches widely in both undergraduate and graduate medical education in his role as Residency Program Director and has published multiple original and review articles in the medical literature. As Director of the Division of MenÛªs Health/Infertility and General Urology, he has worked to develop efficient care processes, including use of video-assisted consents for the urologic patient. He previously served as Interim Chairman for the Emory Department of Urology in 2010-2013. Dr. Ritenour attended the University of Virginia as an Echols Scholar and subsequently received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia before completing his urological surgery training at Emory University. In 2010, he served as a Fellow in the American Urological Association-Japanese Urological Association Academic Exchange Program. He was also a Fellow in the Woodruff Leadership Academy in 2005.
