Doctor's Bio
Dr. Antoine Trammell, MD, is an internal medicine physician who provides primary care for adults at Grady. He cares for patients with a wide range of health needs and has a special interest in how social and environmental factors can affect a person’s health and access to care.
Dr. Trammell earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College and completed his internal medicine residency at Mercer University School of Medicine. He also earned a Master of Public Health from Emory University and joined the Emory University School of Medicine faculty in 2009.
His research focuses on heart and brain health, including how stress can affect memory and thinking and how patients recover after cardiac arrest. At Grady, he also works to improve CPR and emergency response and helps train future physicians in lifesaving resuscitation care.
Dr. Trammell is committed to improving care and helping patients achieve better long-term health.
