I am a native Atlantan who entered the field of medicine as a second career. I always wanted to work in public health, and what I love about IDP is the intersection of medicine, social justice, politics, and advocacy. I have been a Nurse Practitioner at Grady’s Ponce de Leon Center since 2005 and have enjoyed getting to know some of my patients for more than a decade. My husband and I have 2 children and live in Decatur. I enjoy gardening, reading, cooking, history, travel, scuba diving, hiking, and just about any outdoor activity.
