Dr. Aley G. Kalapila, MD, PhD, does outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C care at the Grady Ponce De Leon Center and also attends on the inpatient infectious diseases consult service and the special immunology service at Grady Memorial Hospital. Her clinical and research interests focus on the treatment of Hepatitis C in HIV-infected individuals. She is actively involved in medical education activities with the Emory residents and medical students. She is also the associate editor for the HRSA-funded National HIV Curriculum, an online learning platform designed for healthcare providers in the United States to enhance their core competency knowledge in HIV prevention, screening, diagnosis, and ongoing HIV treatment and care.
