Doctor's Bio
Dr. Aarti Sekhar, MD, is a radiologist who specializes in abdominal and pelvic imaging. At Grady, she uses MRI, CT scans, ultrasound, and X-rays to help diagnose conditions affecting the abdomen and pelvis and guide treatment decisions.
She works closely with specialists in gastroenterology, urology, surgical oncology, and general surgery to provide expert imaging for patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. Dr. Sekhar also performs minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, including biopsies and drainage procedures using CT and ultrasound.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Sekhar is dedicated to training future radiologists and has received several awards for excellence in medical education.
