Doctor's Bio
Dr. Emily Ryan-Michailidis is an inpatient attending physician in the Grady Memorial Hospital Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, established in 2024. She leads a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team and oversees the medical care of patients recovering from serious illness or injury.
Her work focuses on helping patients regain strength, independence, and quality of life following conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, polytrauma, and limb amputation. Dr. Ryan-Michailidis closely monitors each patient’s medical needs and functional progress while guiding their recovery through coordinated rehabilitation care.
