Doctor's Bio
Jennifer Short, PA-C, is a Surgical Physician Assistant in the Department of Surgery at the Emory University School of Medicine. She specializes in the comprehensive management of patients with high-risk for breast cancer, benign breast disease, and breast cancer. She provides clinical care at Grady’s Comprehensive Breast Clinic, where she also serves as the Lead Advanced Practice Provider.
Jennifer earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Emory University School of Medicine. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Nuclear Medicine and Accounting.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Jennifer is actively involved in medical education and preceptorship, contributing to the training and mentorship of breast surgery fellows and physician assistant students. Her professional interests include early detection strategies, risk reduction, access to equitable breast care, and improving outcomes for breast patients.
