Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz No Salt Added Black Beans Drained & Rinsed
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • ½ cup Quick Cook Oats
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ½ cup Maple Syrup Honey, Agave or Brown Sugar will work
  • ¼ cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ⅔ cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Combine all ingredients except the chocolate chips in a food processor. Blend until completely smooth.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips and pour the mixture into a greased 8×8 pan. Optional: sprinkle extra chips on top.
  4. Bake the black bean brownies for 15-18 minutes, Let cool at least 10 minutes before cutting. If they look a bit undercooked, you can place them in the fridge overnight and they will magically firm up.

Notes

Serve them first, and then reveal the secret ingredient (black beans) later. They are delicious. Enjoy!
