Doctor's Bio
Dr. Seema S. Tekwani, MD, is a board-certified critical care physician who cares for seriously ill patients in Grady’s Medical and Coronary Intensive Care Units (ICUs). She specializes in managing complex and life-threatening conditions that require close monitoring and advanced treatment.
Dr. Tekwani completed her internal medicine residency at Harlem Hospital and advanced fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and holds a master’s degree in health administration.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Tekwani works to improve quality and safety in critical care. She also trains medical students, residents, and fellows, helping prepare future physicians to provide safe, effective care for critically ill patients.
