Doctor's Bio
Dr. Paulina A. Rebolledo Esteinou, MD, MSc, is an infectious diseases physician at Grady with expertise in infectious disease prevention, vaccines, and the diagnosis of infections. She is committed to helping patients and communities prevent illness and receive appropriate testing and treatment when infections occur.
Her research focuses on understanding how vaccines protect people from infectious diseases and identifying factors that can make it harder for individuals and communities to receive recommended vaccinations. She also studies ways to improve how healthcare teams use laboratory tests to diagnose infections, helping patients get the right treatment while avoiding unnecessary testing.
Dr. Rebolledo is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Emory University School of Medicine and the Rollins School of Public Health. Her work combines patient care, research, and education to improve the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases both at Grady and in communities around the world.
