Doctor's Bio
Dr. Navalkele has a special interest in prehospital stroke care, helping improve how quickly patients are identified and treated before they reach the hospital. She also works to build coordinated outpatient stroke care that brings specialists together to help patients recover and reduce their risk of another stroke.
Dr. Navalkele earned her medical degree from Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India, and a Master of Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health. She completed her neurology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center and advanced fellowship training in Vascular Neurology at UTHealth Houston. She joined Emory University’s Department of Neurology in 2019.
