Doctor's Bio
Dr. Belinda J. McIntosh, MD, is a psychiatrist at Grady who specializes in community mental health and caring for people experiencing early signs of psychosis. She works closely with patients and families to provide compassionate, evidence-based care focused on recovery and long-term well-being.
Her clinical interests include first-episode psychosis and improving access to high-quality behavioral health care. She is particularly interested in understanding and addressing the social and systemic barriers that can affect a person’s mental health and ability to receive care.
In addition to caring for patients at Grady, Dr. McIntosh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine. She is committed to strengthening community-based mental health services and improving access to care for the communities Grady serves.
