Doctor's Bio
Dr. Kyung Wha Kim, MD, is a neurologist who specializes in epilepsy, seizures, and neurophysiology. At Grady, she cares for patients with seizure disorders and other complex neurological conditions, using advanced diagnostic tools such as electroencephalography (EEG) to better understand brain activity and guide treatment.
Dr. Kim earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and completed her neurology residency and fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She then completed advanced fellowship training in epilepsy at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
In addition to caring for patients at Grady, Dr. Kim is an Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine. Her research focuses on epilepsy treatments and EEG, with the goal of improving the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care of people living with seizure disorders.
